Life Coaching – The Hard Road 2

The straight path is good for those who want a quick fix, but that doesn’t make you into a better person. The long windy road that goes up, down and all around, provides you with deep insight into yourself as a person and also about life. At the end of the day, people who have been through a lot and come out the other end successful, are more knowledgeable, more character filled, and have much more to offer than people who were spoon fed their notions and given their path to walk. Do yourself a favour, if you want to be awesome in this life – take the hard road.

It’s easy to sit back and wish for things to be in your lap. But real people, and I mean REAL PEOPLE, will do everything it takes to get what they are looking for. They will sacrifice, learn, change and apply – and they will get what they want. If it takes them 5 years, great. If it takes 10, great. Overall, the more time and energy you give to it, and the more you learn to love the bumps in the road, the better you can develop and more appealing you will be to people who are trying to do similar things to you. In short, you are a greater influence in life, when you have gone the long hard road, as opposed to the short easy on.

Do yourself a favour, stop taking the easy way out all the time. And if you are reading this and you don’t take the easy road out, give yourself a pat on the back. The people I have met in life, that I respect and love, are the ones that have been to hell and back, and come out the other end a better person for it. They have so much to offer. So if you are going the hard road at the moment, I want you to think of who you have to be to get out the other end in a better state than what you are now. If you can visualise your success point and work toward it, you will have it.

The difference between a winner and a loser is who quits first! Remember that.
